Meela: S5 Case Director

Meela is Chopper's handler. She's the intelligence behind the missions. The ears and eyes of the operation. It all flows through Meela... providing Chopper isn't being... Chopper.

Early life:
Meela grew up on Braxxil in a good, middle class home. She excelled at sports and athletics. Meela was a good student, but enjoyed the thrill of competition a bit more. All Braxxin are born twins. There are exceptions, but it’s rare. Braxill is a twin planet system. Both plants in very short distance of each other. As an advanced race, Braxill achieved space travel long ago, inhabiting both Braxill Elara and Braxill Selene. The Braxinn people not wanting to mix science and military, created two societies separated by space. Braxill Elara, a more science based society. And Braxill Selene a more combat driven society. Braxxin children remain with their parents until the age of 10, when given and aptitude test to see where their strengths are. For there, they are placed on Elara or Selene depending on the outcome of the test. In many cases, similar to Meela and Mittsy, siblings get separated. Meela was more athletic. She broke records in speed, agility and strength, and excelled in combat sports. Her testing in weapons and tactical analysis made it very clear, she belonged on Braxxil Selene, while her sister was kept on Braxill Elara. Meela continued her studies and was top of her class in every thing she touched. Her tactical skills and the ability to understand her enemy and command respect was unmatched. 

‍The game changes:
‍When the Ralix Uprising first started, Meela switched schools to join the military academy. Her sister was already working at the Braxxil Science outpost and Meela wanted to give back and serve the way she could. While in military training, the Ralix invaded Mittsy’s outpost. Meela, having a strong loyalty to her family and her people was enraged at the attack on an innocent outpost. This made Meela shift again and leave the academy to join the military so she could fight. Her athleticism and intelligence moved her up the ranks quickly as she took to flying and became a top fighter pilot. Meela heard about this strange war criminal, Chopper and started investigating this strange duo of Chopper and Yanko. In her investigation, she insisted that S5 was wrong and that Chopper was not a war criminal. She plead with S5 leaders to stop the bounty but got nowhere. S5 leaders were adamant that Chopper and team were top priority and must be brought to justice. Meela disagreed and decided to quietly disobey orders. Oddly enough, her grounded sister agreed with her completely. Mittsy, usually one to go by the book, did what she could to assist Meela. As she continued investigated and connecting the dots, she discovered they had a third and fourth accomplice. A “ghost spy” and an unknown accomplice, Webber. To this day, Meela has never spoke about the Ghost Spy or Webber. She has always kept this to herself. Mittsy and Renner were stationed at a Braxill Science outpost, to continue a government project they were both working on. Meela got wind of an planned attack by the Ralix on this outpost. She left her post and made her way to the outpost. When Meela got, Chopper and Yanko had already disabled the entire fleet, saving Mittsy and Renner’s lives. This is where Meela meets Chopper and Yanko and became part of their rogue team. Meela acted as an ambassador, helping give them insider intel ang working with the two as they went on a campaign to stop the Ralix. After the Ralix uprising was coming to an end, Meela became a big advocate of getting those two off the war criminal list. And to this day, Chopper has a deep loyalty to Meela and what she did for him. In the time after the Ralix uprising, Meela flew multiple missions, then found her calling as a controller and intelligence officer helping Chopper and team. This lead her to working for S5 as a Braxxil ambassador and a key part of Chopper and Yanko’s team.
